On Friday, Friday, March 9, Disney’s John Carter opens in theatres across Canada and The GATE is thrilled to offer you a chance to see the film first in five cities across the country.
In partnership with Walt Disney Studios Canada, we’re giving away fifteen double passes for screenings of John Carter on Wednesday, March 7 at 7:00 PM in Toronto, Waterloo, Calgary, Vancouver, and Edmonton.

Written by John Orloff, the writer for Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole, the historical drama examines the life of William Shakespeare, amid the scandals, court drama and political intrigue of the day, and begs the question many have speculated on: did the famous man actually write all the works he is credited with?
On Tuesday, November 15, Camelot, the complete series, arrives uncut on DVD and Blu-ray, and The GATE is giving away two copies for fans of the unique series.
Featuring a modern take on the Arthurian legend, the show stars Joseph Fiennes (Shakespeare in Love, Elizabeth) as Merlin, Eva Green (Casino Royale, The Golden Compass) as the powerful sorceress Morgana, and Jamie Campbell Bower (Twilight: New Moon, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn) as King Arthur.
